When Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Today we celebrated Brit's 18th Birthday with some of our friends. It was a perfect day to go to Debengeni Falls for a braai, hike and swim (for some crazy boys!) We know the grandparents and aunts want to see pictures so here you go ...
I just had to post these first two. It really seems like these were taken yesterday. What a journey it has been! We are so thankful the Lord chose us to be her parents.
The drive to Debengeni Falls
It didn't take long for the kids to hit the hiking trail. Brit and Abby turned back at one point and decided to go a different way. She will post pictures later from her hike.
A little tired after the hike.
Bentley really wanted to eat Brit's birthday cake right away. In fact his finger managed to get in the icing twice in the first 5 minutes. Sharyn was telling him it was Britnee's birthday and after we sing to her we can have cake. She told him to go tell her happy birthday and he went hunting for her. We figured in his mind he is thinking ... I told her now lets eat!
Didn't take Luke and Noah long to get in the water. It was so cold! Ben said it was so cold it stung! Didn't stop Luke and Noah at all.
They went to this part and slid down several times. Later on an park employee came by and told them that was not aloud. Well they had fun while they could.
