We were not able to go to Mentz again yesterday for the Bible study due to another death in their family. They had funeral preparations last night and the arrival of family members. Next week we will also not be able to have the Bible study because of the Zimbabwe Pastors conference. We have missed our time in Mentz and we are really looking forward to being back there again. Please pray for their family as they are dealing with the loss of another family member this month.
I did go to Mentz on Thursday with Jill to check on Meriam. She is doing a little better but still in pain and her legs and ankles are still swollen. Jill checked her blood pressure and it was a little bit high. Meriam has been to the Dr but they only gave her a rub like BenGay. They told her it was because of too much ironing, vacuuming and the electricity. (not sure that is really the cause???) Jill had some Motrin she left for her to take to help with the swelling. Please pray for Meriam, as this has caused much stress for her since she is the main "breadwinner" of the family and has not been able to work.
