Mark got in the car this morning to take the kids to school and it would not start. Sean and Gabriel brought us the Mission's Land Rover yesterday just in case. Praise God for providing a way to get our kids to and from school today.

Please continue to pray with us for ...
*our car
*getting the house finished soon - so ready to move on to other things
*the Baptist Union Assembly - our church here is hosting the annual meeting here next weekend. We will help Sharyn prepare 3 meals a day for over 400 people; I need to get the name tags made for the files, and we are hosting 4 women in our home over the weekend during the event (praying our house is ready for them)
*pray for the guys in the mission as they prepare for their pastor training in October
*pray for Derrick (one of our translators) who was injured last week as they were trying to drill a well in Salani. He was hit in the head and rushed 4 hours back to South Africa (which they actually made it there in 2 hours) and he had to get 9 stitches. He is recovering fine and there have not been any complications. We are praying for protection as he heals and a quick recovery.

We are so thankful that God has provided us this house and we praise Him for allowing us to sell our house in the States and have a little money to be able to make this house here a home! We praise God for the encouragement of friends here in South Africa as well as friends and family back in the States. God is good and God is great.

It was so good to talk to you! I love the sound of your voice--even when it is a very tired voice!
After we hung up, I was rereading a book called "Am I Not Still God?" It said:
His truth is ours to build our lives on. His life is ours to cling to. The hope of Him is our survival. His love is what will carry us and sustain us.

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me. Psalm 138:8

He sees way beyond our circumstances. He can and will deliver a supernatural contentment and peace that are NOT dependent upon anything we may go through in this life. It is not our circumstances, but GOD in our circumstances.

Sweetie, God knows exactly what you need , when you need it, and how He plans on doing it. Wow! God is good all the time. All the time, GOD IS GOOD!! Through all of this , you have continued to trust God and He has continued to provide for your needs. Praise God! He is using this time and circumstances to draw each of us closer to Him. We cannot physically do anything to help you, so we must put ALL of our faith and trust in Him who created you to know without a doubt that He WILL provide for you. What a blessing for each of us! Isn't it funny that after some time passes and we look back on different circumstances in our lives, we can truly see God's hands in our circumstances and how He took such tender care of us. One day , you will look back on this and see even more of how God took care of all of you.
It is amazing to see God provide so many people to help you get HIS HOME in good order so He may use it to share His love with you and through you! Every day is amazing! Look excitedly to see what God will do each new day!
We love you and miss you so very much!
Thank you God for the telephone and computer!!
Love,
Mom and Dad
