The director of Samaria Mission is in the states this month. He came to San Angelo to visit us and the Hixon's ... he said he came to see how we all were, to encourage us in our journey and see if we are packing (HAHAHA!) It was so good to have him here with us for the week.
We do have a date that we are working towards moving and that is July 17, 2009! There is so much peace and joy in having a date to look forward to. Lots to take care of. We are looking forward to serving the Lord in Africa through Samaria Mission. Stayed tuned for lots of updates. Right now we are in the process of getting a brochure together to hand out to people to inform them on our journey and also about Samaria Mission.
We are asking for you to continue to pray for us as we continue to move forward. Pray for wisdom and guidance from the Lord and protection from the enemy.
When Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Our God is such a wonderful,Loving God! He is most definitely in CONTROL of every facet of our lives. HE has walked before us and planned our route. We must all tune into Him and listen for His GUIDANCE. Pray withour ceasing and know that He is God. We love all of you so very much! What a blessing to parents to know that their children love the Lord with all their hearts. For ultimately, He will take us all home to the place He has specifically prepared for each of us. Wow! To spend our lifetime worshipping Him. What a blessing! To KNOW Him is to TRUST and OBEY HIM for everything in our lives--from the tiniest aspect to the mountains we must climb! We pray for you, and know that God will take care of you. I thank Him for allowing you to be our daughter. You have always been such a joy in our lives. We love you so much! Through you, we have Mark,whom we love very much (a son to us long before he was your husband!) and two perfectly fantastic grandchildren,Britnee and Luke, who continue to be the delight of our lives. God gives the greatest blessings!

God is always working in our lives! I know that God has a plan for everyone while we live this life on earth. Over the last 3 weeks with our little Witt, God has definitly taught me to put all trust in him. I now know in my heart that when God is ready for your family to move to Africa, he will have prepared our hearts to let you go! God is good! We are to trust and obey! I love you all!
