A Visit from Meriam

Last night, I got a call from Meriam and she told me that she wanted to come visit us today and bring the baby.   I wasn't exactly sure when she would arrive and I did tell her that we had language learning this morning and another meeting at noon.  Well, she arrived 10 minutes before we needed to be at language learning.  We visited for a few minutes and then she said she would just wait at the house and we would visit after class then she wanted us to take her to the bus. 

After class was finished, Doug and Debbie stopped by for a quick hello and to see the baby.   As we were walking up to the house I could here the vacuum.  She told me she can't sit still and she wanted to clean a few rooms in the house.  She is always so sweet to us!

Meriam also brought her granddaughter, Surprise, with her.  She is growing up so much.  Now she even lets us hold her and she doesn't cry! 

It was great to see Meriam and visit with her.  We have missed having her around so much!  She says she will start back to work soon and bring her sweet little girl with her. 

We had mentioned in a previous post that Jankie and Meriam want Mark to come out to their village and hold a bible study with them.  Please continue to pray for Mark as he works out the details for that to happen in the new year.
