Seasons ...

Remembering the beginning of a journey/season and embracing the beginning of a new season on the journey!

Emotions .... whew .... what a roller coaster of emotions the last month has been but we wouldn’t trade one second for anything.

Laughter

Joy

Tears

Frustration

Fear

Sadness

Uncertainty

Excitement

Joy (oh, said that already but it is worth saying again!)

Just to name a few.

We knew this day would come as it does for all parents.  We had a taste of what it is like to send one kid back to The States when Brit left 3 1/2 years ago and now it is time for Luke to go.

And just like that we have an empty nest.

We are so thankful that The Lord provided for Brit to be able to come home for Christmas and also to be a part of Luke moving home.   She has been through it and has been an encouragement to Luke.

Our 2019 will be different than other years and we are looking forward to all The Lord has planned for our family as well as ministry. Maybe we will be better at updating our blog and newsletter this year .....

Our last night together in our home in Polokwane was spent cramming in last minute packing, editing of pictures, gathering important documents, one last home cooked meal, seeing people stop by for a quick or sorta quick 😂 “see you later”  hearing people pray for our children and for us and taking a few minutes late in the evening to watch a few OLD videos from the beginning of our journey The Lord has us on.

We never want to forget the beginning and we never want to forget all He has done in our lives as a family and individuals.

So, for those who want to see a little of the beginning scroll down.   We thank you for your prayers, support and encouragement over the last 9 1/2 years.   We ask that you continue to pray for us as a family.

For us as we adjust to an empty nest.

For Brit as she finishes her last semester of university and seeks The Lord for a career

For Luke as he adjusts to living in The States again after living half of his life in South Africa and seeks The Lord as to what job He has for him in the coming months.
