God took me to a verse tonight in Psalms 27:14 ... Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. There was a scripture reference to Lamentations 3:24-26 ... I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait on him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. In the commentary on the bottom of my bible it says ... "God calls us to hope in and wait for the Lord because often He uses waiting to refresh, renew and teach us."
This is exactly where we are at. Waiting!!! God is good and He continues to refresh, renew and teach us new things daily. He has continued to provide financially for the trip this summer to Dindiza, we are almost 1/2 way funded for this trip. Praise God!!! We also have $1,000.00 "seed" money for our long term journey as well as 3 people who have committed to support us with $25.00 a month. We are excited as we continue walk the journey God has us on.
We ask that you continue to pray for us as we wait on God's timing. Please join us in praying for the people in Dindiza. Pray that their hearts will be open to hear the Word of God. Pray for the team as we continue to raise the needed funds to get there. Also, pray for our team as we prepare spiritually for this trip. We have 15 people that will be going on this trip and we are excited to see what the Lord has planned for the people in Dindiza as well as our life.
When Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
