This morning was our first "normal" morning at home in a LONG time. I enjoyed getting my coffee and Bible and heading outside to our lapa to spend a some time with the Lord. I read my Bible reading and devotion from my She Reads Truth app (which I love and has become one of my favorite devotions because no matter where we are it is on my phone!) and then started to read some from Acts. Later, I saw our devotional book that sits on our lapa and decided to open it and move the bookmark from March to November! That tells you how long it has been since we have had a normal morning at home. We have either been gone, had company or had days so full we grabbed breakfast and headed out.
As I finished my coffee I decided to read today's devotion in that book. Wow, I love how the Lord brings things to me to remind me that He is the One in control and His plans are great and that His timing is perfect. The rest of the morning was spent with the beginning of long overdue chores around the house and my mind continued to think on that devotion. I took a picture of the page and started to share it on Facebook. Then I stopped and decided that I should actually share it on here first. It was time to start using this blog again. Well, that was almost ten hours ago! Here you go ... I hope this is an encouragement to you today as it was for me.
